The RIC 312 is the mainstream wireless RIC device from Starkey. It uses a 312 battery and has a programmable onboard volume control. In the latest Z series, this style has wireless bluetooth compatibility via the Surflink mobile, although uniquely in this industry it can be held in your hand or pocket, and doesn’t need to be worn around the neck. It comes in a variety of colours and can fit up to a severe hearing loss.
The i70 series is the lower middle range model from Starkey, and contains the necessary technology to ensure easy listening in a wide variety of environments. Featuring an adaptive automatic primary program incorporating up to 6 situations, the hearing aids are well suited to an average lifestyle. Starkey hearing aids differ from other manufacturers by allowing most of their hearing aids to classify and adapt to up to 7 different environments. The difference between technology levels affects how much adaptation the hearing aid can do when it detects each environment. The i70 level can apply noise reduction through 2 steps.
