The Halo 2 RIC 13 is the cornerstone of the new, made for iPhone Starkey hearing aids, and communicates directly with your compatible iPhone (iPhone 4S and newer) without the need for any further accessories. Using the Starkey app, you can make adjustments to your hearing aids and use your iPhone as a remote microphone. Obviously, telephone and music streaming are in built functions of this technology. You can also geo-tag your tuning preferences, so that when you are next in the same spot, the GPS in your phone will advise the hearing aid to revert to the settings that you last saved in this location. The Ric 13 has been updated for the new Muse family with a program/volume button.
The i70 series is the lower middle range model from Starkey, and contains the necessary technology to ensure easy listening in a wide variety of environments. Featuring an adaptive automatic primary program incorporating up to 6 situations, the hearing aids are well suited to an average lifestyle. Starkey hearing aids differ from other manufacturers by allowing most of their hearing aids to classify and adapt to up to 7 different environments. The difference between technology levels affects how much adaptation the hearing aid can do when it detects each environment. The i70 level can apply noise reduction through 2 steps.
