Can I return my hearing aids and/or accessories?
You can return your hearing aids and accessories at any time within 30 days of your fitting or purchase for a full refund, provided they are returned in full working order, perfect cosmetic condition and with full original packaging. You will receive a full refund for your hearing aids, minus a restocking fee of $195 per hearing aid to cover the cost of our contracted audiologist fees and shipping to the supplier. You will also need to enclose a return form with your unique returns identification number which can be obtained by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless the return is due to a fault on behalf of Hearing Exchange (for example the wrong item is shipped), in which case Hearing Exchange will pay for shipping.
How much is shipping?
No shipping charges apply to hearing aids and accessories that require programming as these products are shipped directly to your preferred fitting location.
Batteries are shipped for free.
Shipping charges for consumables is $5 flat fee and $10 flat fee for larger accessories. These fees will be specified upon placing an order.
Can products be delivered to my address?
As hearing aids are complex medical devices and require professional calibration and fitting, they cannot be delivered to your home address. All hearing aids must be fitted at a Hearing Exchange clinic location and will be shipped there prior to your fitting appointment.
Accessories which require programming and calibration
Accessories which require programming and calibration to your hearing aids must also be shipped direct to your Hearing Exchange clinic.
General accessories and batteries
General accessories and batteries which do not require programming and calibration can be shipped to your preferred address. You will be notified which accessories require programming on their specific product page.
